Re: Recital[OPEN]
The girl kept on singing as she played for the other 5 in he room. She noticed that Mexico had sat next to her on the piano bench and smiled as he did. He seemed to have a pondering expression. She wondered why and she saw from the corner of her eye that he had said something. She was able to hear him even though it sounded under his breath. A smile appeared on her face after hearing him. She then slowly got to the ending of the song and ended it was a gentle echo.

Re: Recital[OPEN]
As the music faded away, he slowly opened his eyes. He turned his head to see the girl smiling at him, he smiled in return. "That was fantastico, you have a lot of talent," he told her politely.
He blinked a few times, then slightly shifted his glasses up. Strange, they almost seemed to bother his eyes...
He glanced around the room, searching for a violin before asking what he wanted to. He saw a classic one on a counter, that could work. Surely no one would mind if he borrowed it for a while. He shifted his gaze to the girl again. "De facto, you play absolutamente bontio. Would you mind if I played along with a violín?" His shoulders tensed up as he said it, it would disappoint him greatly if she said no, he had never played along with a piano.

She smiled at him and the others as the song finished. As she smiled at Mexico she chuckled a little from his compliment.
"Hehe Mahalo Mexico. ...Eh? Really? A-Are you sure?" She asked in a nervous and embarrassed expression. > ~ //>;;;

He slightly nodded, yet his thoughts were on something else. "I don't lie about talent, that isn't something to be played with." He placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder, though he wasn't facing her direction, there was a hint of a smile.
"So, will that be a yes or a no?"

The girl smiled softly at the comforting comment that he made and nodded.
"hehe Yes. That would be wonderful. Mahalo nui loa, Mexico."
She then readied her fingers onto the keys and waited for Mexico to be in his ready position.

Re: Recital[OPEN]
He smiled warmly, carefully getting up from the piano bench and going over to the counter. Strangely the violin case was open. He slid one of his hands under the neck of the violin and slowly took it out. It gleamed faintly as he did so, it looked to be looked after well. He could tell the oak wood was recently polished, he better be careful not to taint or scratch it. He fixed the bow strings on the bow, then walked back to the girl with both of the things in his hands.
"I think piano music is better when played slower," he paused, rose the tip of the bow to his chin, then continued, "but I have only played mariachi music. I can try to slow it down for this time, bueno?" He smiled and placed the violin under his chin, waiting on the girl's command for them to start.

"hehe alright then. 1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4."
She then counted them off and started to play the tune.

Re: Recital[OPEN]
He started off only a few seconds late, but quickly recovered the time by speeding up the tempo. The bow moved slowly against the strings of the violin, making a deep and hollow sound come from it. He moved the bow with the steadiness of the tempo, careful not to play it too quickly. He let the notes linger with each stroke, moving his fingers along the ridge of the violin.
He smiled. He was learning to play the violin in long, delicate notes. He kept the bow on the D and G string, occasionally shifting to the higher notes. The piano helped keep the beat, which was even greater.

She smiled as she played at this tempo. Closing her eyes to have a good grasp of the tempo and also to enjoy the music being played.

Re: Recital[OPEN]
He glanced over to the girl to see how see was doing. She had closed her eyes, yet she could still play the instrument? That amazed him, it must have taken much practice to get that right. He could tell by the way she played that she was committed to her music, and it made him smile.
He returned his attention to the violin, fixing his gaze on the strings that were played. He had to concentrate in order to play the right notes, yet the Hawaiian played so easily without even looking. He tried doing the same by first looking up, but that only resulted in a wrong note. He sighed.
"Whoops..."
He bit his lip, he hoped the girl hadn't heard his mistake. He hated messing up, and when the note was played wrong, he frowned slightly.

She had heard his mistake but she pretended not to hear it for she knew that when you make a mistake in music, and when performing you just keep going on with the rest of the notes and when you have time practice it. The music continued to fill the room as the two played for the Music teacher and the 4 other's in the room.

Re: Recital[OPEN]
He breathed a bit more easily when the girl did not comment on the slip. He heard an even slower tempo, each note had longer pauses. He knew that it meant it was slowly coming to an end, and he imitated the sounds she played. The music slowly started to fade, the hollow sounds fading as well.
He lowered the violin, and smiled at the girl. "Just curious, but how is it that you play so well?" He took the instrument in his arms, plucking the strings incoherently to keep his fingers busy.

Re: Recital[OPEN]
"Hmm?"
She turned to face Mexico after he had asked his question. She smiled and chuckled a little.
"hehe, How you ask? Well like any good musician will tell you, practice makes perfect. All I did was practice how to play it and there you are. It's just like how you learned how to play your violin. " She said as she pointed to the violin.
"You had to first learn how to play the violin properly. Then you had to practice playing the notes, until finally, you learned, practiced, and perfected how to play a song."

He chuckled and gave a slight nod. "Si, I know that practica perfecto is how you learn to do anything. But..." He stopped plucking the strings, and looked up slightly. He rose one leg on the bench, put his elbow on his leg, and rested his head on the palm of his hand. It was difficult to explain what he really meant, something that words could not really express. Of course, the only way to get beautiful music was by practice, but there's something else. Could it be talent?
"I am not sure how else to ask. But it doesn't matter, you play well." He shrugged and smiled, lowering the instrument.

She smiled from his compliment and nodded back in reply.
"Mahalo and so do you." she told Mexico with a smile.
She then sighed and puffed her cheeks a bit as she was upset that he wouldn't tell her what he wanted to ask.
"Also, it does matter. Really it's not good to keeps things on your mind for a very long time."

His eyelids lowered, yet he was looking at the girl. He raised an eyebrow, he found it strange that she would say something like that. "What do you mean? Keeping quiet is the safest way to keep bad things from happening. How else would-" he stopped himself, realizing what he was saying.
He thought: Well, that shouldn't have been said...
He smiled right after he stopped, he didn't want the girl to think anything 'suspicious.' Instead, he told her what he wanted to know. "I just meant that you have something very special for music. I just wanted you to know that, it's all."

"Really? Mahalo but really I don't think I do personally." she said with a nervous smile.
She then still looked concerned about how he cut off himself. It didn't make her suspicious of him but a little curious as to what he wanted to say. But for one think she thought that maybe he did it so that she wouldn't get hurt. So she let that reason play with her mind until she found out what it was that he wanted to say.

Re: Recital[OPEN]
A young boy, about the age of sixteen or so, arrived for class; a fairly new student. Francis peeked inside the room hesitantly for a moment, then stepped inside. Out of the corner of his icy blue eyes, he noticed the two states conversing nearby. Not wanting to interrupt them, he went over to one of the seats, unpacking a small violin from its case.

Re: Recital[OPEN]
Mexico smiled and gave a slight nod. "Si, it does not take much to see that you have talento."
He was content with sitting next to the girl for a while, when he saw another student come in. He had never seen a nation like him before, how strange. He tilted his head a bit and stared at the student when he took a seat, even his manner was strange to him.
He stood up and walked over to the French student, careful not to startle him. He saw him unpacking a violin, and a lovely one at that. He tapped his shoulder lightly and smiled. "Hola nuevo, you have música as a clase as well?"

Francis turned slightly, surprised, at feeling the tapping on his shoulder by Mexico. He looked at him for a moment, a glimmer of curiosity flickering in the French student's gaze. "Bonjour, yes." Naturally, Francis was hesitant to speak another language but his own, be it the smallest greeting or a full conversation. Nonetheless, he smiled warmly at Mexico, giving a slight nod.

Re: Recital[OPEN]
He glanced at the violin then back to the nation. He now really wished that he had brought his own instrument, though everyone here played slower and more gracefully than he did. It amused him that he could play that way, but he preferred to stick with a tempo that was quicker and more lively. "You have a lindo violín, it is very nice, de facto."
He returned the smile and extended a hand out the student as a greeting. It seemed that the class wouldn't be very filled for the day. But that always made it easier to get to know everyone. "Well, bienvenido! Might I have your name?" he asked in a polite manner.

"Thank you." Francis smiled warmly and nodded, shaking Mexico's extended hand. "Francis, Francis Bonnefoy. And you?" Francis asked, glad to know he was at least getting along with the other students on his first day.

"I am Manuel, but most refer to me as México." He paused, and hastily took off his glasses to clean them. He continued, "Francis? I think I've heard of you before. Inglaterra mentions you sometimes... Ah, you are Francia?" He slipped the glasses on then blinked a few times. "Si, it must be you."

"A pleasure to meet you, Manuel." Francis tilted his head, watching the other nation for a moment before nodding once, smiling rather proudly at first. "Yes, that's me."

Re: Recital[OPEN]
The young state also noticed the other nation to walk in. She smiled as she saw the two start to converse. It was so wonderful to see others get along nicely. Since she didn't want to interupt she started to finger the piano keys as she pretended to play. This was a way for her to practice while being quiet at the same time. A smile appeared as she could hear the melody in her head as she practiced.
